My friend was reading a series some time ago about Ark angels Gabriel, Micheal, and Raphael. It wasn't religious or anything but it had God and Lucifer was trying to take over and Micheal was a general and it sounded really interesting. It was a longish novel and on the cover had a angels back and wings. I think there were 3 parts to the series.
