a couple of years ago my family got a pit bull. he was a normal dog for years. very people oriented. he was raised from a puppy and always took well to whoever was in our home. he has never been abused or given any reason to act violent. if anything hes been spoiled his entire life. and for some reason, around 3 years of age, he started to get incredibly territorial. hes attacked multiple people, multiple times, and he attacks for absolutely no reason. he will simply try to bite and attack whoever he desires to at that given place and time. now, he is left in our garage every day. whenever someone walks by the door, he barks and growls until no one is in sight. my family wants to find him a home but we don't know what to do with a pit bull that attacks for no reason. if anyone can give me an organization phone number or website that can guarantee him safety, i would be very grateful. if it matters at all, i live in Brunswick, GA. basically southeast GA. also, my father is the only one the dog takes to and he is trying to avoid getting rid of him, so he claims organizations like "pit bull rescue" are claiming that they "cant take anymore dogs". so if you could please provide multiple options so that we have plenty of opportunities and choices to ensure that we can get rid of him i would appreciate it very much. thank you so much for your help.
