[ Facebook ] Open Question : is there a way to un-subscribe someone from getting text updates when i post a new status on facebook?

i know my ex subscribed to my statuses on facebook when we were together, but we're not anymore, and i don't like it that every status i post goes straight to his phone. any way to stop that from happening?
