[ Laptops & Notebooks ] Open Question : Which laptop should I get for college?!?!?!?!?

I'm looking to buy a laptop for college (I leave in like 2 weeks) for like $500-$900. Which ones are the best? Which brands are decent? I know a bit about computers but not that much. Thanks!
