(Asked earlier, but I really wanted more input.. going to school soon. :)) Okay, first: we don't use uniforms, I'm in high-school (12th year) and most students wear sloppy clothes.. I used to wear the kind of "normal-don't-wanna-be-noticed-clothes", but I really want to change style. I absolutely love items like button up shirts, polos, blouses (things with a collar, hehe!), coloured cardigans, belts, dresspants, blazers, flats, pencil skirts and so on.. I'm not a huge fan of the "western-ish" shirts, or most ruffly skirts (or tops, or dresses..). When I have searched for back to school outfits, too many of them appear too casual for my taste(not that I think you should dress formal for school.. just my weird taste.). This year, I wanna give this style a try. But would it look like I'm trying too hard? Or would it be over-dressing for school? Do any of you like the same style as I do? And of course, do you have any ideas for what I can wear for the first day of school? Or school in general(I'm not thinking a huuge difference in my "first day-outfit" and general school clothes) ? :) Oh, and for the hair, it's always pin-straight(always... won't keep curls or waves or anything for more than 30 min..), I like headbands and other not too flashy hair-accessories. Minimal makeup. Just like it the best that way. A few things I'm thinking about is a white button up, purple cardigan, black dress pants, black flats and maybe a headband or a belt. Or a white short sleeved button up, a black pencil/normal plaid skirt, a thin black belt, grey cotton thights/pantyhose with a nice pattern and black flats. Just some ideas, do you have any? :) And, do you think my style is too much for school? Thanks :)
