I met this girl and I fell quickly in love but I feel like she likes her best friend: Though he has asked her out twice and she has said no each time, she said things like "you are my kindred spirit" or "we'll be old together" and "I would never leave you" "I don't want you to be mad at me because I love you so much and I'm sorry that at this point I can't give you what you want" ....this was said when she turned him down. She also spends more time with him than any other friends. She went to England for a couple weeks and he was in Spain and he visited her for a full week in England. She also has said things like "you are the first person i go to when i need something" But she also has said to a friend of mine that she could never date him. Her mother also refers to him as "part of the family". Her sister seems to love him and the mother really loves him haha. I really don't think she has dated much to be honest and is SO busy with school and everything. I guess she did have feelings for him at one point early on. I have asked her about him though, like "Are you guys dating??" and she has said "Noo. I have a lot of guy friends. I hate the stereotype that girls and guys can't be just friends" Do you think he is JUST a "best friend" of hers? Could she just have been saying those things when she rejected him, to make him feel better? She is very religious and old fashioned. Hasn't dated much....
