[ Women's Health ] Open Question : Please help: At this point, is it unlikely I will get my period after taking these pills?

I take birth control, Kariva, generic for mircette (it's along the same lines as Yaz, etc). It's a 28 day pack, with 21 white full-dose pills, 2 sugar pills & 5 lower-dose blue pills in last week (the wk you'd normally get your period). Well I'm going away on vacation this coming thursday & dont want my period then. Originally, I had planned (and hoped) to get my period early--by skipping 2 white pills last fri & sat. Well that didn't go as planned..my period didn't come yesterday, as i had hoped it would. It was becoming too close for comfort to my vaca, so i decided I'll try to completely SKIP IT... I've only skipped my period one other time. I know it's not the best to do it all the time, although some say it is. I'd just rather not mess around with my cycle too much. Anyway, so I took 2 full dose white pills yesterday sunday (the ones i had skipped the previous 2 days). I took them about 4 hrs apart from each other. One early and one my regular bc time. I woke up during the night a bit nauseous & had a headache. I had some crackers, water & was okay. Did I take the pills soon enough to hold off my period for good? I noticed a tiny bit of spotting this morning, altho it wasn't droplets in the toilet or full-on blood. Ive heard some spotting can be normal when you skip a period on BC. According to my pill packet, I should just continue taking one white pill every nite and I "may not have a period, but this is expected." Wouldn't I have gotten it by Sunday if I was going to get it? Should I take 2 pills again tonite (but only an extra blue lower-dose one few hrs before the white)? That would be going against what the packet says, though. Any input/experience on this is greatly appreciated... I am a responsible 23 yr old. I do not mix up my pills on a regular basis & I wish i hadn't skipped 2 last week, but what's done is done..i would've gone straight to the next pack. I'm hoping I took enough hormones though to not worry about my period coming.. Thx again!
