Well, Wimax is not the same as wifi, though they are related. You will need a special Wimax adapter in your computer to pick it up; your regular Wifi card or dongle or built-in capability won't work. Also, like Wifi, it might or might not be free. Since Sprint is involved with the Chicago Wimax, my guess is it will NOT be free.
