So i had no idea my cats were gone until two weeks after, because i was on vacation. So ill tell you the story of what happened first. So my mom made a last minute decision to go and see family somewhere else. So she called a friend to come feed my cats for the weekend. So the lady had come early on saturday and fed them and stuff and then left. Then what my mom thinks happened is there is a cat door that leads out to the garage and my cat had been going in there lately. My mom had locked this before she left but when you look at it, the lock is broken, so one of my cats must of gotten into the garage, and then my other cat followed. The problem is, is you cant get back in once, the doors locked. So we think the cats sat in the garage without food or water till late on sunday, when the lady came back. When she did, she opened the garage and she said they both darted out of the garage and ran in the other direction. She said she tried chasing after them and got ahold of one, but he scratched her bad and than ran. She felt so bad so she stayed the night with the garage open and left out food and water, and tried calling them and offering treats, but nothing. So i found all this out when i got back from vacation and i was very upset. When my mom had come back the weekend they dissapeared, she said she searched the community, and knocked on everyones doors asking if they had found/seen them. Unfortunatly when i got back from vacation i had to leave again, and so now its been almost a month that they have been gone and im so upset. I'm putting up signs later today, but i just dont know what to do. I've walked around and called there names, and i've put out treats and water, and there nowhere to be found. Any adivce on what i should do, because i feel so helpless, and alls i want is for them to come home. Just some side information there both brothers one is skitzy and becomes afraid easily the other is friendly There both 8 years old. I've had them since they were 1 They both loved me a lot, they would always follow me everywhere.
