Right so I am looking for a horse under £1,000, preferably under £800. Not because I'm really tight and can't afford one or whatever you want to say but so I can pay for his board yearly (already £1,000 for a year) and I can pay as soon as I buy. Before I even MENTION my issues let me add I have everything calculated and sorted to afford a horse! All I can find EVERYWHERE I look are unbroken young horses or very old horses strictly unable to be ridden, or haven't been ridden (that fit my size wanted, 15hh - 16hh). I have been looking online for the last several months and haven't even gone to view any because there are none. I already fully loan a Cob but I want to *buy* my own to take me further e.g jumping and showing. But I don't want to go through the hassle of buying tack and all of that if I buy and break in my own foal. There are also just broodmares going :/. So any advice/information is appreciated. I'm not asking you to hunt for horses for me... I just really don't know what to do now. There are no auctions or rescues anywhere near me, so please don't recommend I go to one. Question number 2, today I was at my friend's stable and I could touch every horses' ears! It was AMAZING. But my Cob absolutely hates his ears being touched so getting the bridle on is getting more difficult each time, I think it's known as head shy? So how do I get him used to it?
