[ Martial Arts ] Open Question : has mma change the way people think what a tough guy really is?

before watching mma about 4 years ago, i use to think that bodybuilders and pro wrestlers were the toughest guys ever. since watching mma i was very disappointing in big muscular guys, beside brock and shane carwin. example bobby lashley losing to chad griggs. i couldn't believe that bobby would go out like a bitch. also watching todd duffee vs mike russow (even though todd duffee dominated majority of the fight) , a sloppy fat man knocking out a muscular guy with one hit. another one is seth petruzelli vs kimbo slice, this was the biggest fight that had me confused. before watching i use to bench press all the time thinking that would make me a better fighter, but now since watching mma i started training in muy thai and brazilian jiu-jitsu. i can tell you that bench pressing didn't help me bit. in muy thai my body so sniff from lifting weights that i couldn't throw a good punch, and in jiu-jitsu had small guys to tap me out all the time. i just wanna know did mma change your minds on big muscular guys?
