[ Music & Music Players ] Open Question : Why won't my iPod Touch sync?

When i try to sync it, it says: The iPod "iPod name" cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found. I am running on Windows 7 and the iPod is 3rd generation. I have know idea on what to do, I looked it up on google nothing really works.
