Amtrak train heading to California crashes, kills 2 over 100 injured

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a California bound Amtrak train crashed in Reno, NV. A tractor-trailer, plowed into the side of the California Zephyr, that was coming from Chicago and headed to Emeryville, CA.

The train had 204 passengers on board and 204 crew members. Amtrak confirmed that 2 passengers were dead on the scene. There are at least 10 people in hositpals that are in critical condition. The accident happened at 11:20 p.m Pacific Time. Investigators are now determining if alcohol played a role in the crash.
