Country singer Chely Wright, who just came out last year, married girlfriend Lauren Blitzer on Saturday.
Wright and girlfriend Blitzer, a LGBT rights activist, were married in a ceremony in Connecticut.
"We like our hair too much!" joked Wright.
Wright and Blitzer exchanged vows in front of about 200 guests at the home of Blitzer's aunt. Although Wright is vegetarian, the couple served guests barbecue from New York's Blue Smoke.
“What a beautiful day for a wedding,” Wright tweeted on Saturday.
